Job Description Job Title: Automotive Customer Service Representative
Location: 12000 Bermuda Crossroad Ln, Chester, VA 23831
Job Overview: As an Automotive Customer Service Representative with Christian Brothers Automotive, this role is at the heart of creating exceptional guest experiences. Serving as the first point of contact, the position plays a key part in guiding guests through their vehicle care journey, ensuring every interaction builds trust and lasting relationships.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Desire to learn automotive repair service terminology and processes
- Check guests in and out
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Proactively perform customer call backs to verify satisfaction post-repair, maintain customer satisfaction and build upon existing relationships for repeat business
- Develop into a quick service customer expert, managing repairs for customers scheduling and dropping off oil change appointments
- Work with initiative and problem-solving skills to turn every interaction into an opportunity to exceed expectations
- Providing safe shuttle service for our valued guests in our branded vehicle
- Treating our guests with the utmost respect under all circumstances and with a heart consistent with Christian Brothers Automotive
- Assisting the shop with receiving, processing, incoming and outgoing parts and other errands as needed
- Keep the facility clean and organized
- Assist other team members as needed with clerical tasks such as accounts receivable and filing paperwork
- Direct, coordinate, and participate in performing guest service activities as dictated by workload
- Serve as a community ambassador for the store through creating authentic relationships and partnerships
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Qualifications: - Ideal candidate possesses excellent communication and people skills, is driven and motivated, with a go-getter attitude, thriving on challenges and taking pride in achieving goals
- Proven successful hospitality manager, client relations manager and/or customer service representative experience is required; driven to serve others
- Must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with our staff, vendors, and guest
- Enjoy a fast-paced environment and a Team mentality
- Ability to seek and accept coaching and direction
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Valid state driver's license and meet required insurance driving record parameters
Physical Requirements: - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear
- The employee is occasionally required to balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus
- Being dependable for a position that is Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
