Job Description Job Title: Courtesy Shuttle Driver at Christian Brothers Automotive New Albany - Part Time
Location: 4606 Charlestown Rd., New Albany, IN 47150
Job Overview: Are you a people person who enjoys forming new relationships? Would you like to be a valued member of a dynamic team in the automotive repair industry? If you can answer yes to these questions, then our open Courtesy Shuttle Driver position may be a great fit for you! This job is a crucial part of our business because we offer shuttle rides to all our guests in and around New Albany while we repair and maintain their vehicle. Our guests rely on this service which we provide them at no cost. It's just one of the ways we strive to offer our community an exceptional level of customer service. Quite frankly, we want to blow people away with our level of care and concern for their vehicle and for them as a person. Our shuttle driver is a huge part of us being able to achieve this goal and we are looking for someone who believes they can help us meet it!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Desire to learn automotive repair service terminology and processes
- Providing a safe shuttle service for our valued guests
- Treating our guests with the utmost respect under all circumstances and with a heart consistent with Christian Brothers
- Providing a safe, nice difference® service for our valued guests in our branded company shuttle vehicle
- Keeps a timely shuttle route
- Assists passengers in getting in and out of vehicles
- Assisting the shop with receiving, processing, incoming and outgoing parts and other errands as needed
- Notifies the service manager of any servicing the shuttle vehicle may require, such as oil changes, tires, cleaning, and general maintenance
- Keep the shuttle tidy and organized
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Qualifications: - 1 year or more of customer service experience.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with our staff, vendors, and customers
- Valid state driver's license
- Meet required insurance driving record parameters including a clean driving record for a minimum of 3 years
- Enjoy a fast-paced environment and a team mentality (we work hard but like to have fun doing it)!
- A safety conscious attitude
- Strong interpersonal communication skills (Great conversationalist).
- Drive to serve others
- Team player mentality
- Ability to seek and accept coaching and direction.
