Job Description The Role We are looking to hire a highly efficient driver helper to assist company drivers with all deliveries.
Essential Responsibilities Include, but Not Limited To - Loading and unloading company products
- Completing accurate delivery records and reports
- Reporting all delivery-related problems to senior staff
- Effectively communicating with clients and customers
- Assisting with the unloading of the delivery vehicle at the end of each shift.
- Obtaining clients' and customers' signatures as an acknowledgment of having received the delivered products.
- Ensuring that all safety policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Performs other duties as assigned, may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed
Qualifications Required Skills and Experience - Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs frequently
- Ability to work in a refrigerated warehouse environment for up to 8 hours per shift
- Ability to work as a team member-works as a co-worker
- Communicator- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to follow written or verbal instructions
- Ability to solve routine problems and solve basic math
- Ability to understand and follow all safety rules, procedure manuals, and diagrams
- Warehouse experience helpful but not necessary
- Riding pallet Jack experience preferred, not required
Additional Information This is a safety-sensitive position.
