Are you tech-savvy, hands-on, and ready to launch your IT career? Gophermods is hiring Entry-Level IT Technicians for our device repair and customer support teams. We offer paid, hands-on training and a clear path toward industry certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+—no prior experience required.

We provide on-the-job training, tools, and mentorship to help you succeed in the fast-growing field of electronics repair and IT support.

As an IT Repair Technician, you may:

• Diagnose and repair smartphones, tablets, laptops, and gaming consoles (training provided)

• Deliver outstanding customer service and tech support in person, via phone, and over email

• Perform troubleshooting and follow repair procedures and safety protocols

• Maintain accurate documentation and case notes in our repair systems

• Support education and business clients with device preparation and bulk repair projects

• Keep your workspace clean and organized and contribute to store operations

• Collaborate with team members to improve repair processes and workflows

In your first year, you’ll receive:

• 1-on-1 training with experienced repair specialists

• Ongoing mentorship and performance reviews

• Hands-on experience with a wide range of Apple devices and other consumer tech

• Eligibility to complete CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+
  • Bonuses upon successful completion of certification exam

We’re looking for individuals who are:

• Passionate about technology and eager to learn new skills

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and organized

• Excellent communicators with strong interpersonal skills

• Able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform manual repair work (standing, fine motor skills)

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based environment

• Available Monday to Friday, with flexibility in schedule

No prior tech repair experience is required. Retail, customer service, or tech support experience is a plus.

• Starting Pay : $16–$21 per hour, based on experience

• Bonuses : Performance-based bonuses & commissions

• Annual Raises : Up to 8% increases based on performance
