Job Description

The Extraction Specialist is responsible for performing closed-loop hydrocarbon extractions while upholding the highest quality and compliance standards as set by the Lab Director and Supervisor and the Maine Office of Cannabis Policy. This role requires hands-on experience with extraction systems, and the ability to maintain a safe and organized lab environment.

• Collaborate with the Lab Director and Supervisor to plan and schedule production.
\n
• Maintain accurate inventory of extraction solvents and filtration media.
\n
• Document all extractions precisely and log them into the state-mandated track-and-trace system (METRC).
\n
• Ensure all work aligns with brand standards and supports departmental goals.
\n
• Operate and maintain closed-loop hydrocarbon extraction systems.
\n
• Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on extraction equipment.
\n
• Report findings or issues promptly to management.
\n
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized work environment in accordance with SOPs.
\n
• Follow all compliance, safety, and workflow regulations without exception.
\n
• Assist Lab Technicians and support other lab operations when needed.
\n

• Must obtain and maintain a Maine Office of Cannabis Policy Individual Identification Card (IIC).

• Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift/carry up to 50 lbs. (200 lbs. with assistance).
