Job Overview Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage is seeking a Critical Care Intensivist to join the team at HCA. We are part of the HCA system of care. HCA owns and operates over 186 facilities in 21 states providing services to over 26 million patients annually. The success of the intensivist program relies on strong team building strategies within the ICU, the hardwiring of best practice evidence base protocols, and streamlining the delivery of hospital wide critical care services.

- Qualified Candidates/Additional Details:
- Active Alaska License or ability to obtain
- Part Time- 6-7 shifts per month- 12-hour shifts, mix of days and nights

Unit Details Unit Description • Alaska Regional Hospital has over 1000 employees and a medical staff of over 550 independent practitioners.
• 250 bed regional facility offering a broad scope of services
• The hospital is the designated Shriners clinic facility in Alaska, and free immunization clinics are held monthly for area school children.
• Other services include free prostate cancer screenings, health education seminars, community health fairs, and support groups for cancer and stroke survivors.
• Alaska Regional is the only non-military hospital in the state with its own landing strip, allowing the hospital's LifeFlight Air Ambulance to transport critical care patients from the plane directly to the 24-hour Emergency Department. Alaska Regional even offers free valet parking to patients and visitors.
