We’re looking for an Environmental Engineer, Scientist or Geologist to continue their career at Jacobs - where we’ll empower you to learn and grow in the delivery of environmental site characterization and remediation projects for government and global private-sector clients - to make our world better. Based out of one of our metro D.C. area offices, you’ll work with other geologists, engineers, scientists, subject matter experts, and project managers on exciting projects in which you will learn from others and pass along your knowledge. You’ll work with a knowledgeable and supportive group of professional staff as you plan and execute field activities including well installation; soil, groundwater, surface water, and sediment sampling; and sampling other relevant media; conduct remediation system maintenance; prepare scopes of work for subcontracts; and coordinate with team. Office tasks include conducting data evaluation on field and laboratory data sets and preparing technical reports documenting completed field activities and sampling results.
