Job Description

Responsibilities Include:

• Lead and manage a team of logistics professionals to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Lead and mentor the logistics team, providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ability to perform day-to-day freight forwarding activities alongside the team.
• Act as an escalation point for customers and internal team members, with the operational knowledge to guide and support when issues arise.
• Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure seamless logistics operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, specifically within the freight forwarding industry.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.
• Proficient in logistics software and technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a team.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on performance metrics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
