About the Role:

The Monitor Tech plays a crucial role in the healthcare team at Mission Community Hospital by ensuring the continuous monitoring of patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms. This position is essential for early detection of any abnormalities, allowing for timely intervention by medical staff. The Monitor Tech will be responsible for interpreting data from monitoring equipment and communicating any significant changes to the nursing staff. By maintaining accurate records and providing support during patient assessments, the Monitor Tech contributes to the overall quality of patient care. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Monitor Technician training program or equivalent experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Monitor Tech in a healthcare setting.
• Certification in cardiac monitoring or telemetry.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms using advanced monitoring equipment.
