Role Summary

Automotive Company is seeking an experienced and organized Parts Manager to oversee the operations of our parts department. The Parts Manager will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating with service and sales departments, and ensuring efficient and effective parts operations to support our dealership's goals.

More about the role

  • Oversee the ordering, receiving, and stocking of parts, ensuring optimal inventory levels and minimizing obsolescence.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with parts suppliers and manufacturers to negotiate pricing and terms and ensure timely delivery of parts.
  • Work closely with the sales and service departments to fulfill parts requests, providing timely and accurate support for vehicle repairs and sales.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of parts associates, ensuring high levels of performance, productivity, and customer service.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with parts inquiries, ensuring their needs are met promptly and accurately.
  • Develop and manage the parts department budget, tracking expenses and revenue to achieve financial goals.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on parts sales, inventory levels, and department performance, providing insights and recommendations to management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the parts department, implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with dealership policies, industry standards, and legal requirements in all parts operations.
