Recruiting Solutions is seeking a PLC Programmer for a Direct Hire opportunity with a industrial client in Columbia, South Carolina! This role includes a competitive pay range of $65,000 to $90,000 per year dependent on experience, as well as a range of benefits through the employer including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, long and short term disability insurance, life insurance, paid time off and more! System Integration: Work with HMIs, robotics, sensors, and industrial networks to improve production processes. Equipment Upgrades and Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve automation issues to minimize downtime. Process Automation: Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and implement solutions. Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to drive automation initiatives. PLC Programmer Requirements and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience) Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc) and industrial control systems. 5 to 10 years of experience in industrial environment supporting automation projects, plant maintenance, or similar relevant projects. Strong troubleshooting skills with robotics, HMIs, sensors, and electrical schematics. Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, etc).
