We are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Tester to join our client out of Richfield, Ohio, on a long-term contract basis (remote). In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the success of a high-profile financial product rollout by leading testing efforts and maintaining quality standards. This position offers the opportunity to work independently within a lean IT organization and contribute to a critical business initiative.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute comprehensive quality assurance processes, including automation testing using Playwright and API testing with tools such as Postman.

• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to align testing strategies in a hybrid Scrum/Fall environment.

• Analyze and incorporate state-specific compliance requirements into test plans to support accurate business rule validation.

• Conduct thorough testing of financial and performance tracking features, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.

• Manage QA efforts from initial onboarding through execution for the first phase of the project rollout.

• Adapt quickly to evolving requirements and provide actionable insights to enhance product quality.

• Document and report testing progress, results, and defects to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.

• Maintain and refine testing scripts and frameworks to optimize efficiency and accuracy.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, with mid-to-senior-level expertise.
• Hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks, particularly Playwright, and API testing tools like Postman.
• Strong analytical skills to understand and test complex business logic and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of QA processes in a lean team environment.
• Familiarity with Agile and hybrid project methodologies.
• Background in insurance systems or Guidewire Claims Center is a plus.
• Experience with financial or data-driven products is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in tools and techniques such as Selenium, manual testing, and assurance engineering.
