Job Description

Position Title: Repair Technician

Wage: $17.00 per hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm

QPS Employment Group has a great Repair Technician position available at a company in Machesney Patk, IL. This is a 1st shift position.

Repair Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Work in many areas of the refurbishment of airline seat and tray tables.
- Inspect tray tables for damage such as cracks, cuts, broken mechanisms, marks, etc.
- Disassemble the tables and scrap times that cannot be re-used and place items for re-use back in inventory.
- Assemble tray tables using existing parts and new parts depending on the level of quality of parts.
- Disassemble airline seats and cut new foam cushioning to replace old foam.
- Use the following hand tools – routers, die grinders, band saw, shears, spray gun, glue guns, CNC routing machines.

Repair Technician Requirements:
- Good attention to detail.
- Good work ethic.
- Good attendance.
- Motivated employees that want to learn more and advance in the company.
- Must have calipers experience.
