Binghamton University is seeking a student-focused and motivated professional to be the next Senior Academic Advisor, Pre-Law Advisor. With an impressive 86% acceptance rate to law school, Binghamton University's Pre-Law Advising is recognized for delivering personalized advising, innovative programming, and strong partnerships across campus and beyond. Housed within Harpur Academic Advising, this position will lead robust pre-law advising initiatives to support students' academic and professional goals while advancing the University's commitment to student success.
The Senior Academic Advisor will meet with undergraduate students and recent alumni interested in attending law school or pursuing legal careers, providing expert guidance on academic preparation, application strategy, and professional development. This position works closely with faculty, advisors, and staff in a busy, collaborative environment to ensure students have access to robust resources and opportunities. The successful candidate will be highly organized, self-disciplined, and able to work independently and as a part of a team. Occasional evening and weekend programming is expected, with occasional travel to New York City.
