CTC is seeking energetic, motivated undergraduate students who are passionate about the power of theatre and inspired by our mission. Recognized nationally for our innovative theatre education programs serving preschool through high school, Children’s Theatre of Charlotte continues to shape young artists and lifelong learners. Our summer camp plays a vital role in this work, offering students—and the artists who guide them—a dynamic, creative, and rewarding summer camp experience.
What You Will Do...As an added bonus, you’ll have the unique opportunity to observe and collaborate with our professional CTC Teaching Artists—gaining insider insight into how theatre education comes to life. While you will report directly to the Education Operations and Administrative Manager and the Camps and Community Programs Manager, you will work closely with the entire education team. When you step into this dynamic role at one of the largest professional theatres for young audiences, you will gain hands-on experience supporting summer programs that serve thousands of children and teens each summer. ImaginOn Summer Camp Counselor
Dates Required : May 26 - August 14, 2026 (No camp the week of June 29-July 3)
Daily Schedule: Monday-Friday - 8:00am – 6:00pm
Compensation : $13/hour. You will be scheduled for no less than 40 hours per week.
Satellite Summer Camp Counselor
Location : CPCC-Levine Campus (Matthews)
Schedule: May 26-30 - Training Week; June 8-July 24 (No camp the week of June 29-July 3)
Daily Schedule : Monday-Friday - 8:00 a.m.–-5:00 p.m.
Compensation : $12/hour. You will be scheduled for no less than 40 hours per week.
