Scope of Work:

Oversees procurement, inventory, and distribution of materials and equipment to support all aspects of a facilities maintenance contract, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and operational readiness.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of materials and equipment procurement to support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and reconcile discrepancies to support continuous operations.
  • Forecast material needs based on maintenance schedules and historical usage trends.
  • Source and negotiate with vendors for the best pricing, quality, and lead times in compliance with company policies and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) (if applicable).
  • Track, receive, and inspect all incoming materials, ensuring timely availability and quality of supplies.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and security of materials in accordance with safety standards and contract requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including purchase orders, shipping/receiving logs, inventory reports, and vendor records.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of parts and materials.
  • Support government property tracking and reporting requirements as needed.
  • Implement and improve supply chain procedures to increase efficiency and reduce waste or excess inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, contract-specific standards, and internal company policies.
  • Exercise supervisory responsibility to oversee daily operations, ensure task completion, and support overall contract performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Five (5) years of relevant experience, preferably in a facilities maintenance or government contracting environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., Maximo, GFEBS, or similar CMMS platforms).
  • Familiarity with federal procurement and property management regulations (FAR/DFARS) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with work order systems such as Maximo preferred.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 Public Trust background check, if required for the position.
  • Must be able to maintain the ability to access the government worksite.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, to operate vehicles or equipment as required for the position.

Physical Demands / Work Environment:

  • Primarily on-site work in a warehouse or facilities operations environment.
  • May require lifting, standing, or walking for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work on-call, alternate, and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.
