Scope of Work:

The primary purpose of the position is to perform a variety of logistical and warehouse tasks to ensure the management, cataloging, and utilization of property and materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage expendable and nonexpendable supply items through stock control, requisitioning, delivery, and inventory.
  • Monitor usage, inventory levels, and seasonal demands to determine stock needs and replenishment schedules.
  • Maintain minimum stock levels to prevent shortages and ensure continuous operations.
  • Track and manage perishable items and safeguard high-value or pilferable supplies.
  • Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all chemical products in stock.
  • Pick up and deliver supplies and equipment to ensure timely distribution across work centers.
  • Dispose of broken or obsolete items in compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports for nonexpendable property and perform routine property management tasks.
  • Oversee warehousing of supplies according to accepted safety and storage standards.
  • Retrieve and sort supply documents, directing them to the proper storage or processing area.
  • Maintain organized catalogs and reference files for easy access to supply information.
  • Ensure routine maintenance of warehouse equipment and tools.
  • Responsible for company fleet maintenance and tracking assignments
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Two (2) years of related experience in in supply, inventory, or warehouse operations.
  • EHS degree or equivalent experience – preferable construction related.
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory control procedures, and property accountability.
  • Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and safe handling/storage of chemicals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and inventory management systems.
  • Experience with work order systems such as Maximo preferred.
  • Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 Public Trust background check, if required for the position.
  • Must be able to maintain the ability to access the government worksite.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, to operate vehicles or equipment as required for the position.

Physical Demands / Work Environment:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer or desk. 
  • Frequent use of hands for typing, data entry, and handling paperwork. 
  • Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching for long periods of time.
  • Work may be performed indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and around various hazards with appropriate PPE.   
  • Must be able to work on-call, alternate, and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.
