HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Florence, South Carolina.

Location: 805 Pamplico Hwy, Florence, SC 29505
Start Date: September 15, 2025
Duration: 10 weeks
Shift: Day, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) or 4x10s (manager approval required)
Schedule: On-call required (1 to 2 weekends per month)

Provide nursing care in the Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab with a focus on interventional cardiac procedures. The traveler will float to the EP unit as needed. This position requires expertise in monitoring, pacing, and burning during EP procedures and managing complex cardiac interventions including PCI, Shockwave, CSI, Impella insertion, and balloon pump use.

Travelers must live within 30 minutes of the facility to respond promptly when on call for STEMIs. Radiation badge is required and must be provided by the agency .

• Minimum 1 year Cath Lab and EP experience (first-time travelers accepted with required experience)
• EP skills: monitor, pace, burn, circulate during procedures
• Cath Lab skills: PCI, Shockwave, CSI, Impella insertion, balloon pump management
• Preferred: scrub, circulate, and monitor in all cases
• Experience with Tilt Table Study, Cardioversion, Vascular procedures (Carotid and Peripheral), PFA and Watchman procedures
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association only)
• Radiation badge provided by agency (facility does not provide)

• Work Settings: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab
• Procedures: Impella insertion, PCI, Cardioversion, Tilt Table Study, various scrub procedures in GI, GU, Pulmonary, Neurological, and Vascular studies
• Patient Population: Not specified
• Charting System: Epic, MAC Lab
• Staffed Beds: 396 (facility total)
• Scrub Color: Hospital issued
• Parking: Free

• Floating: Required, including to EP as needed
• On Call: Required 1 to 2 weekends per month
