We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Controller with strong experience in manufacturing cost accounting to lead our financial operations. This role is responsible for overseeing all accounting activities, managing cost structures, supporting budget preparation, and ensuring financial accuracy across our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including GL, AR/AP, payroll, and bank reconciliations

• Develop and maintain cost accounting systems to analyze production costs, margins, and inventory valuation

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports

• Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts and provide financial insight to support business decisions

• Monitor internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies

• Manage inventory accounting and coordinate with operations to ensure accurate reporting

• Support audits and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors

• Supervise and mentor accounting staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a manufacturing environment

• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, standard costing, and inventory control

• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks Enterprise)

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication abilities
